The ACal calendar tries to emulate the calendar you hang on your wall, on the web. The ACal Project's calendar would be good for people who are used to the paper calendar but want to have access to their calendar from anywhere, and add/remove events from anywhere. And maybe even share their calendar. We are always working on making it easier to install and use.
